FASHION156 Update; Anja Mlakar, Mr Hare & Sibling are guest editing currently on the blog.
Insight into Anja's collection; SPIDERWOMAN?

Anja Mlakar's A/W Collection.

I love how you incorporated the farthingale in to your AW 11/12 looks if you could reinterpret any infamous costume what would you choose and why?
I would create a spider woman as I haven't see that done yet.

Your clothes often have an athletic note to them if you had to design a uniform for any sport and money was no object what would you choose and what would you do?
A fencing uniform. I love how mysterious and serene someone looks in a fencing uniform. Their posture is impeccable, the movements look effortless, fast and efficient. You can somehow feel the danger in the air. I'm always interested in translating emotions to my designs and I would try to highlight this, if I was faced with such a challenge. I would probably want to make them in red.

DUFFEL COATS; as featured in the newly anticipated SUBMARINE.
Matthew Miller's interpretation is slightly more fitting!

BINGO & SOCIAL CLUB; photographer MICHAEL HESS had been capturing over 60 Bingo Halls for over four years and the outcome was a beautiful collection of images all published in his own book.
