FASHION156 Update;
A round up of FASHION156's 12 favourite collections from LFW are now online, all worthy of a praise.
Meadham Kirchoff; produced an amazing show as well as a catwalk, jaded white witches and intricate detailing were both heavily included in this beautiful collection.

J.W. Anderson menswear; Immaculate attention to detail, almost a question in gender as bright patterns and tight fitting jackets is a main contributor to this collection.

Craig Lawrence; stunning master of knitwear, doesn't fail to impress again, with crushed velvet and metallic yarns. Veils and floor length gowns, very impressive show.

Agi and Sam; sense of fresh nineties nostalgia with Basquiat art references. T-shirts all digitally printed and adorned with bold colours, a risky colour palette that works well. Love the fresh prince tee!

Johnathan Saunders; Silhouettes were heavily focused on with sophisticated brights complaining the garments. Graphically digital prints worked into dresses and blouses. A step into menswear for Saunders, with a beautiful outcome.

Christopher Shannon; Keeping with his sportswear aesthetic, Christopher adds a more feminine touch to the collection this time with ruffles and handcrafts still making it a highly intriguing collection.

Mary Katrantzou; Stunning collection with an emphasis on prints. Floral Asian landscapes seen on cocoon shaped garments. An unforgettable collection from Katrantzou.

James Long; Tough knitwear in a washed out palette resulting in comfortable yet sophisticated menswear. Elongated sweaters still seen continuing Long's signature style.

Louise Gray; 90's feel with a concoction of colours and fabrics. Balloon headpieces added an enjoyable, light hearted feel to the collection.

Felipe Rojas Llanos; jewel tones with a fluidity of sheer fabrics. Entitled as "The grand hall of the mountain king."

J.W. Anderson womenswear; a mix of grunge and heritage adding a masculine femininity.

Martine Rose; hip-hop meets grecian princes in this beautifully thought out collection. Melded structures of street wear and head pieces.

FASHION156 Update;
As LFW is now over, every collection can be seen on FASHION156's COLLECTION page with every designer who showcased their work listed alphabetically. Shows in which I haven't yet covered on my blog but yet loved, can be seen below;
Charles Anastase; These particular garments above i adored, the elizabethan feel on the dress, washed down with a neutral palette highlighting a beautiful structure. The sheer top screams sophistication with the tight fitting black trousers, also a well placed outfit by Anastase.

PPQ; Another collection which was drawn to my attention, unusual yet amazing headwear complicating the edgy feel to this line. Elizabethan theme given as strong neckpieces and emphasis on fitting is shown.

FASHION156 Update;
As it is the last day of LFW, the main focus is MENSWEAR.
New and upcoming designer Omar Kashoura who was previously featured on FASHION156's Designer Tracking Series showcased his designs.

Inspired by Luchino Visconti's film 'The Damned' whilst also looking into World War 1 giving the collection a highly structured military feel. Palette consisting of khakis, beiges and warm tones.

NEW POWER STUDIO; following on from last year's collection based on interesting sportswear.
This fall, the underlying theme was of Roman Catholicism, disturbing yet ironic headpieces.

MR START; Perfectly produced tailoring with seemingly practical footwear.

FASHION156 Update;
As its the fourth day of LFW, the COLLECTIONS section on FASHION156 is crucial for any information on each collection as they hit the runway.
As I have been doing previously, I will be including my favourite designs from collections that appeal to me.
Mary Katrantzou; I fell in love with her lampshade heavily beaded skirt and it seems Mary has kept that shape within the bottom of her dresses, amazingly colourful collection. Oriental feel with the bold patterns yet appears deliciously vintage!

Mark Fast; Another collection that had wow factor, Fast appears to accentuate particular parts of the female form with some areas particularly shoulders being highlighted. Love the thick knitwear and use of neutral palette.

Christopher Kane; I feel quite a quiet collection for Kane, but not a letdown in the slightest. Well thought out and follows an interesting design on each piece. Very much about the female figure with an exciting mix of colours.

FASHION156 Update;
COLLECTIONS, as LFW is now in the third day, FASHION156 are fully covering each show twenty minutes before it begins to hit the catwalk. Each day of LFW i will be choosing garments from particular designers' that capture the essence of their work whilst appealing to me.

HOLLY FULTON; Her fall collection to me did not disappoint. I love the art deco feel, the mix of strong textures. The daring mix of leather, feather, wools and digitally printed silks, stunning. Influences from the 70's & 50's shows strong throughout.

BASSO & BROOKE; experts in print design. I love the above dress on the right, beautiful arrangement of colours and tones which really compliment one another. The looseness and fluidity throughout this collection is evident to see. Silhouettes lean embodied in delicate silks.

David Koma; sticking with his strong 80's aesthetic, Koma creates what I feel is a masterpiece. Structured black leather loudly accompanied by dashings of bright colouring, enticing!

Topshop Unique; A photograph that drew my eye whilst also summing up the collection, ANIMALS.
Topshops older sister,Unique welcomed us to yet another striking collection, printed shoes, dog jumpers and fur lined coats.

FASHION156 Update;
As LFW is 3 days in now, I'm going to select many collections that appeal to me.
This post will be highlighting mainly new and upcoming designers, ones in which have been highlighted on FASHION156.COM

Krystof Strozyna; titled as London's king of graphic shape & form. Stunning neons used with a neutral palette, i adore the aqua and beige structured dress, beautifully thought out collection.

Kirsty Ward; As previously posted, Kirsty was a one to watch chosen by Vauxhall Fashion Scout and she didn't disappoint, chunky tribal inspired jewellery and sheer blouses. All infused with particular structured garments, a wonderful mix.

Sara Bro-Jorgensen; ROCK 'N' ROLL cool, graphic prints on tight fitting dresses. Striking collection with a mix of well produced prints.

Corrie Nielson; my personal favourite from her collection, a little black dress with its own unique twist. Love the sheer, loose top half placed with quite a structured bottom half focusing on the hips, lovely!

Florencia Kozuch; amazing array of textures, knitwear, features, beading, embellishment. I could go on, but this picture sums it up perfectly. Love the stark contrast of colours, a truly unique collection that deserves to be praised.
